One user filling form in multiple time

    Hi there,

We have created a form that will allow a number of groups we support apply for an online grant, rather than have to submit a hard copy of their annual application.

I have a few questions regarding this.

We often have a support officer who will fill in the form on behalf of a number of these groups. I.e. One user filling in the form multiple times.

Can the support worker fill in a number of forms at the same time? I.e. working through each form which is being saved as they progress through it, and then going on to work on the an application on behalf of another group?

I have attempted this on my own computer as a test using two different email addresses but when I go to click the link sent to the second user email I end up being taken to the form that has already been half completed by the initial user.

Is there a way round this? Or are my settings incorrect?

    Many thanks

    Calum

I am not sure if I have understood your question correctly, are you trying to register the Form in two tabs of the browser and trying to submit the application with two different email ids and that is resulting in the same application Form?

Are you trying to implement save the Form using session method? If yes, then have you configured two Forms for session implementation? Also, have you added page breaks in your Form?

Could you please share more details on this?

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

    Apologies if that wasn't clear.

I have created two forms for session implementation.

To give an example, My colleague K represents two groups A and B. She is working on the form with group A using their email address. Though this form is not yet complete as she is awaiting some information, she also has work to do on Groups B's form. Even although this is registered in a different email address, When K completes the first form to gain access to the second form, for saving progress, it then just returns to Group A's form.

I hope that is clearer and look forward to your response.

    Many thanks

I understand the one submitter may be part of different groups, I also understand that you're using the same to record the data no matter if they are part of different groups. Is this correct?

Now, note that in order to fully understand your workflow we will need to test the form on our end and follow the process you have with your users.

Please kindly share us the form you're working on, this guide will help you getting the form URL: https://www.jotform.com/help/401-Where-to-Find-My-Form-URL

We will wait for your response.

    Hi there,

That's correct. One user trying to submit a number of different responses to the one form.

You can find the form here.

Autofill in the form settings should be disabled when Session URL method to save and continue is used. That should solve your problem as well, but not with your current session for the two tests that you've taken.

To add, autofill saves the partially field data into the local browser storage. In this case, no matter what session you'll access, the previous data will be shown to you since it is being saved in the storage and automatically fill in the form.

Session method, on the other hand, saves the data to our servers.
