How to avoid submit.jotform as the referral in Google Analytics?

Hello, I am trying to setup a Google Analytics goal to track forms completed.

Currently our form is nested as iframe and we use a custom /thank-you page (redirect) and I've setup a GA goal based on this destination.

Unfortunately the redirect is breaking GA source and medium tracking, because of this redirects. I also tried using the Google Analytics Widget, and I also put our domain for cross domain tracking, but I don't understand what metrics this widget is tracking, apart from pageviews (that is completely useless, given that I already track pageviews of the page that contains the iframe).

How can I track GA goals?

Integration: GA goal based on destination (/thank-you page) it's working, but the GA source and medium are: referral and submit.jotform.com. I must preserve the original source and medium, using cross domain tracking, but I can't understand how to setup using the Google Analytics Widget.

    Thanks

You may try adding submit.jotform.com to your referral exclusion list which would resolve the issue.

Note, that the form submit domain name might be a bit different, here are some examples:

    submit.jotform.com

    submit.jotformpro.com

    submit.jotform.us

    submit.jotform.co

Please check yours and do as suggested. Let us know if this doesn't resolve the issue so we can further check.

    Thanks

Hi, the right referral is submit.jotformeu.com. I've put that into the exclusion list, I'll make a test soon and get back to you.

Hi, no change. I have put the exclusion, but I still see goals credited to referral / submit.jotformeu.com

Please note that I use utm_source=test&utm_medium=test to do my tests.

I've also configured cross domain tracking with submit.jotformeu.com without success. Here's an image.

How do other clients track jotform submits using GA goal? I can replicate their method if someone can show that.

Unfortunately we cannot buy Jotform paid plans until we solve this issue.

That's the URL JotForm uses to submit the data, you may set up a custom thank you page and include the following in the URL "?utm_nooverride=1", this guide will help you redirecting to a different thank you page: https://www.jotform.com/help/38-Redirecting-Users-to-a-Different-Page

    I hope this helps.
