My account profile settings French language translation

    Bonjour,

    Just checking my subscription level to see if the Black Friday special was worthwhile for us and noticed the French translation of the profile page is almost zero :

    The top menu only has the first three options translated, the other three are stuck in English.  Those should become "Fonctionnalités", "Appui" et "Tarification"...  Although last one would be better understood if translated as either "Coûts" or "Prix". I did not look at the respective sub-menus and their pages (so far).

    The above is actually the header of most pages.

    As for the "Update your Settings" page, the lack of translation starts with its title and goes just about every single bit of text displayed.


    "edit", down the righthand side, should be "modifier".


    The lefthand side navigation menu only has ONE element translated to French.  Each of the other, in order, should be :


    "Profil" (French doesn't have the 'e' at the end as in English)

    "Paramètres" (is the only one translated)

    "Utilisateurs" (instead of English "Users")

    "Facturation" (instead of "Billing")

    "Données" (for "Data")

    "API" (could stay the same actually, if handled as a proper name)

    "Historique" (for "History")

    "Utilisation" (for "Usage")

    "Ajouter" (for "Get More")

    "Récompenses" (for "Rewards")


    Now for the body of the page :


    "Fuseau horaire" ("GTM" is actually not right in English, should be "Time Zone" - the actual choices are list of countries, in English, showing the GMT offset.  Oddly, mine shows "EST" as the current choice, correct, but not a GMT offset as now shown from list.)

    "Format de l'heure" (one of few in body which is translated already)

    "Langue" (for "Language"; the choices are already translated)

    What the heck is "Tarik" ??  The choices seem to be a background pattern or colour.  I have no idea.  Google Translate seems to think it is Indonesian for "Pull" in English or "Sortir" in French).

    The above, in my case, shows "Default" as the choice.  French, it should be "Défaut".

    "Confidentialité or privé" is almost there, but should be "Confidentialité" would be ok. Each of the options are not translated to French.  They should become :

       "Ne pas permettre le clonage de mes formulaires par autrui"

       "Nécessite une authentification pour voir les soumissions"

       "Nécessite une authentification pour l'accès aux fichiers téléchargés"

       "Nécessite une authentification pour accéder le RSS des soumissions"

       "Nécessite une vérification pour changer l'adresse courriel"

    "Abonnements" (for improperly translated "Subscriptions")

       "Nouvelles mensuelles"

       "Courriels éducatifs"

       "Promotions JotForm"

       "Articles inspirants" or maybe "Source d'inspiration"

       "Annuler tous les abonnements à JotForm"

    "Courriel de l'émetteur" or "Courriel de l'expéditeur" to stay consistent with the button passed "Edit".

    "Mémoire tampon des formulaires"

       "Purger la mémoire tampon"

    Not certain that "Bounce List" is actually a bounce list as the button says "Check".  So translation would probably be "Valider une adresse courriel" and the button becomes "Valider l'adresse" while the "Email Address" should be "Adresse courriel".

    "Bas de page JotForm" (for "JotForm Footer")

       "Ajouter le bas de page JotForm à chaque formulaire afin d'éliminer la limite sur le visionnement des formulaires."  (for the choice; I did not go to the link).

    "Image de marque JotForm" for ("JotForm Branding")

       "Afficher 'Powered by JotForm' sur mes formulaires" although the "Powered by ..." should itself be translated site wide.


    That is it for that one page.  I will eventually work my way through all the pages, one page at a time unfortunately.  Unless I can get access to the current translation files, the English and the French.

    Thank you for reporting this to us. I will raise this issue to the next level so they can review as well.

    I will also update those text language translation using our translation tool base on your suggestion. You may review the translated version later.
