Is there a way to add a radio (select) button next to multiple images?

You mean you want to select images with radio buttons?

No unfortunately you can't do that.

You can right click on form elements and shrink them so that you can put multiple elements near each other. Maybe you can simulate by using this way.

Put a check box and put an image file near it

then on the next line put a checkbox and put an image file near it.

    etc...
