Wondering if there is a way to have a field pre-populated from another field input.
For example: If I choose my name in a drop down field
Yvonne Williams
Is there a way to then automatically populate the email field with my email address
ywilliams@wwfi.com without having to enter it.
I realize that the data might have to be pre-populated but we are trying to streamline this form for the users.
Appreciate your reply.
Yvonne

While using drop down fields to populate name, you can also assign calculation values for each field. In your case, you can use email address as the calculation value against each name.
1. Select the properties option of the drop down field, go to the options tab and enter the names of the users as shown below.
2. Drag and drop the email field into the form.
3. Turn on the Calculation value option. Add the emails into the calculation value section of the Options tab.
4. Create a condition as follows and Save.
I have checked this and found to be working fine.

Do try this method and let us know if it is working fine from your end.

@gerardw Thank you for help and providing a guide.
Hi Yvonne,
Our form builder can use conditional logic. The guide provided above me is the correct way to populate a field based on the user's answer.
