    Paid subscriptions: Fees Pro-ration

Asked by imhealthe on January 15, 2013 at 11:24 AM

If I wish to subscribe to your Premiun service and choose the annual payment, and then four months later wished to upgrade to the Professional service on a monthly basis, will I be able to do that and if so how will the remaining 8 months on the Premium be adjusted? If I choose the annual payment for the Professional service will it start a new 12 month period or will I simply pay the difference for the remaining 8 months?

Hope this is not too confusion. I think the 12 month annual cost for the Premium is excelent value but just wanted to see what options I have if I need additional bandwidth part way down that time.

    Hi Sid,

When you upgrade or change subscription type, it will immediately take effect. What I think will happen is, -- you will have to cancel the original subscription type that is not yet completed before you can upgrade.

Usually, a refund will be provided for any excess payment.

Hope this help. Please inform us if you have further inquiry.

Thanks Jonathan. That's fairly clear but just want to confirm that you do accept cancellations of an annual subscription (i.e. payment made for 12 months) for the purpose of upgrading the account?

Does the same logic apply if I needed to downgrade?

    Hello Sid

If you upgrade to Professional on a yearly subscription but in the middle of that year period you decide to downgrade to Premium, we can make a pro-ration of the charges . And similar situation would be if you choose a yearly premium subscription but then you decide to upgrade to Monthly professional, we can always make a pro-rated charge
