Hello. I would like to use JotForm to create a site on my Web page where clients can upload files. I would like to use DropBox, but I had a question about the "available space" feature. Does this apply when uploading files to DropBox via a JotForm form? I already have a DropBox account where we pay for approximately 500 GIG of space, and we move perhaps 25 GIG to 50 GIG of files per month, and obviously we'd prefer to not pay twice for space. Can you tell me how this would work if I were to change from our current SendThisFile subscription to have users upload directly to our DropBox using JotForm? Thank you.

Thank you for your interest in our service.

Yes, all the files are being uploaded to our servers, and then transferred to integration services. You can not disable that feature. However, you can delete your JotForm submissions at any time to clean your JotForm space quota.
You can actually upload > 100MB files on a Free account, but you can not continuously store more than 100MB on our servers using that Free account. In other words you can upload, for example, 250MB file, and this file will be uploaded to your DropBox account. However, you will have to delete this submission with 250MB file from your JotForm Submissions page, otherwise your account will be blocked the next day.
Please also note that Dropbox has a 150-300MB limit for their Web API uploads, so at this time you can not upload large files (> 300MB) to Dropbox using our forms.
If you need any further assistance, please let us know. We will be happy to help.

Is it possible to set something, maybe a flag in the Dropbox intergration, that could automatically delete the submission once it has been recieved? thus clearing the JotForm space quota? I would still have recieved an email advising that the submission had taken place. Obviously I fully appreciate its not in your interests to do this as you want people to upgarde etc.

Unfortunately, there is no automated functionality to delete the uploaded files. You may have to manually delete the files from your JotForm account.
FYI, submission counters are reset on start of every month but Upload space limit, you need to manually delete the files.
