    Thank you message does not appear after google checkout

    the thank you message, with info my custmores have bought is not being shown to them.

    Hi,

    Have you already added the form Auto Responder (Creating a Form Autoresponder)? You will need to have this setting so your customer can get a copy to what they have submitted using your form.

    Welvin, does the auto responder affect the thank you message?  After a paid submission in the pay form im using,,i want a instant thank you message after they pay,,can that be done? or do that have to go to thier email to get the password they just paid for?

    Hi, the google payment in your form should be completed successfully first, before it will redirect back to the Thank You page.

    Can you please double check if this is not the issue in your case?

    You may want to test it first -- try to put as small amount as possible.. i.e. 0.01USD only for the password, then test the form and complete the payment process.

    I had friend test it for me,,he successfully completed the order thru the form,,i even charged it off in my google check out account,,when i asked him if he got the automated thank you message with the password he just bought he said no.( i put the password,username that i offer loaded in the thank you message).

    Hi,

    My colleague Welvin will get back to us as soon as he is online again. I could not complete testing it on my end since I do not have a google wallet account.

    But I did also check your form's submissions -- and I haven't find a completed payment yet using the test product .

    Will it be OK to test the form in actual and do the payment process completely? This will help a lot determining if there is indeed issue with this feature.

    there is a completed submission in the real submissions that my friend test for me. he didnt get the thank you message.  yes you can test the form completely...

    I would like to suggest trying a Custom URL option. You may create a simple page on your website, and set it as the form Thank You URL.

    NO!!  WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO DO THAT!!  DONT YOUR THANK YOU MESSAGE WORK/? IM LIMITED TO TEN PAGES WITH MY SERVER, THAT OPTION IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!!

    welvin just tried it succesfully i got his cc reciept in my google checkout,,did u get the password,username in the thank u message welvin?

    Hi daburghjacks,

    My sincere apology for letting you to wait for my test. Yes, I did some test this morning and you will have to click "Return to Daburghjacks » link in order to show up the thank you message because this won't automatically open up after placing an order.

    Same as to the Form Auto responder, since the purchase is place as an order, your user will get the Auto Responder after you as the merchant will complete the transaction by charging his/her credit/debit card.

     

    I hope this clarifies a bit on how does the Google Checkout works. Thank you.

    to many steps  for my visitors ,,now i have to tell then to click those words in thier google wallet..wow!

    In addition, I think there is a disadvantage using the thank you message to show up the password. After they send you order, they will be redirected to the Google Default Thank you page which attached above, they can click on the link and show up your thank you message with the password even without you confirming first the payment of the order so I suggest you to use the Auto Responder instead because they won't get it without your confirming the payment.

    I'm sorry for giving you an answer like that. Here's the guide on how to setup the form auto responder: Creating a Form Autoresponder. If this isn't what you mean, please let me know and I will try my best to give you that steps.

    Okay, here's the step on how your user will get the Form Auto Responder. They will have to click the two options or preferably the first option on the checkout page;

    After they click Place order now button, they will get the Form Auto Responder, here's mine after doing the process;

    so now i will have to tell them about the email prefrences and to check thier email for the password? and how do i cancel the thank you message?  and also they will not get the email till i charge it off in  my gcheckout?

    There's no option NOT to show the the thank you message but you can change the option to just the basic thank you page by;

    1. Edit your form

    2. Click "Setup and Embed"

    3. Click "Thank you" button

    4. Choose the first option
