How get back deleted information after questions in forms deleted??

I wanted the recreate a question in a number of forms from being a text field to a text area. I couldnt change the already selected type so i created a tecxt area and put the same question there and deleted the old question/text field. However it seemsindokng so I deleted a lot of submissions that had already been entered into the old text field. How canI get this information back from already submitted submissions?? And what do you mean in your answer that the validation is working and data was forwarded? See below.

Now, regarding your question, in fact, when you delete a field you're deleting the associated data, it's not possible to replace a field (delete and add another one) and keep the data. In order to recover the information on the previous field you will need to revert your form back to the version where the field was present, this guide will help you doing so: https://www.jotform.com/help/294-How-to-View-Form-Revision-History

Sorry I answered in the wrong thread. Was doing it from my phone and couldn't see what was what. 

I went to revision history but could not recreate my old form or access any previsous information. When I go to changes made Last month on the left margin, it says on the right hand margin that it is the current version. There is a small note under that I have deleted a field but there is no option to recreate. Is the information that had filled that filed (had 7 submissions) gone forever? Or can it be found. I have no other way of getting this information as the email account that was linked to it is now inactivated and I can't get a hold of that person.

The field deletion should have been recorded on the revision history, I would recommend you to click on each version of the revision history tool for your form in order to preview the version on that time. To revert the form back to the version, you may click on the "revert" button:

The screen-cast provided on my previous reply is from the form builder, to get the same, edit your form in the builder and click on the "last edit" text displayed right below the form's title: 

Using the revision tool from the same page as you it's possible to revert back as well, simply click on the different versions of the form in order to view the changes and get the option to revert back:
