    Transparent Forms?

    Asked by danielschmoyer on January 16, 2013 at 03:14 PM

    I have tried doing all the necessary steps to make my form transparent and it's not working. Can anyone help me out? I'm using a google site and did the Iframe Wrapper thing and still nothing changed.

    Thanks!

    Did you selected background and typed Transparent into the HASH code box or the colour number code box?

    Hello and thank you Guest for trying to help out, that's very nice of you to lend a hand! :)

    @danielschmoyer

    As per what Guest was talking about, please refer to this guide http://www.jotform.com/help/87-Making-the-Form-Background-Transparent which will help you achieve this then make sure that your form has been saved after clicking the " Ok " button. I peeked at your form and it doesn't look like you've done this yet so please try doing it that way with the guide and if you continue to have problems or other questions then let us know so we can assist you further.

    I have done that and it hasn't worked yet. I even went into the preferences and made sure it said "transparent" in there so I know it's saving it.

    I also added the IFrame gadget like the directions indicated but so far no luch. If I email you my log in info can you check it out on that end? (google and jotform)

    on Jotform my form is transparent (in the preview mode) but on my google site it still shows the background color as white. How do I remove the background color white so the image can be seen through the text? I added the jotform URL via iframe and wrapper but no luck so far.

    Hi there,

    Can you please try to embed the form using a scripting method such as iFrame or JS in stead of using the complete source code?

    Here are a couple of guides to help you with that:

    Thank you for the suggestions but I don't have a problem getting the form on the site, i'm having trouble figuring out how to have the form transparent on my website. I have a customized background that I want seen through the form text but it continues to remain white despite using all the tutorials on the site related to creating a transparent website form. The form is transparent under the preview mode on the Jotform side but once I embed the code into my google site it suddenly has a white box around it. I want the box removed and my text left there on top of my background. Does that make sense?

    Hi,

    What browser are you using? Your form displays transparent on my end, using Chrome and IE Browsers. Here's a screen. http://pasteboard.co/2nMlsv33.png

    You can also disable highlights of your form so it remains transparent which a certain field is clicked. Here's a visual guide:

    Thanks!

    I have it working now... I changed the google site theme and the restrictions on editing and adding widgets was removed on the new theme.

    My only issue now is finding the right text colors to match with my website background. I will mess with that on the jotform side though.

    is there anyway to edit the text color for all the text on my form? If you look at the live site now some of the text is gray while others remained black. How can i change all the text to one color?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    To change all the text color on your form, inject the following CSS Codes to your form.

    .form-all, form-radio-item label, .form-checkbox-item label, .form-grading-label, .form-header, .form-sub-label {

    color: black !important;

    }

    Follow this guide: How to Inject Custom CSS Codes to your Form

    Just replace color black to any color or hex colors your want.

    Thanks!
