Need to allow multiple sessions, maintaining most info on long form

Asked by jfgpscholarships on January 17, 2013 at 04:01 PM

    Hey there,

I saw one answer to this question on the forums (http://www.jotform.com/answers/150621-Need-to-allow-multiple-submissions-maintaining-most-of-the-entered-fields), but that was for a fairly short form. I was wondering if you've added any tools since then to make this easier, especially for long forms, such as the one I'm working on. I think I can use the same technique, but the URL will get quite long (not sure if there's a functional limit) as I want to maintain the data in most of the fields. This is to allow parents to fill out nearly identical forms for additional children.

Thanks in advance for your help (and for the form builder in general)!

    Sincerely,
    Drew

    Hi Drew,

You may want to try using the Send POST Data feature of the form. Then, use a PHP script to re-populate the same form.

    Check this guide -Send-POST-Data-From-JotForm-Using-PHP-in-Custom-Thank-You-Page

Please inform us if this is feasible on your end.

    Thanks.
