Random submissions did not integrate to Google Spreadsheet

On my sheet, there were approx 150 submissions.  I have the form being integrated to Google Spreadsheet and also Google Drive (for PDF's).

2 submissions did not show up on the Google Spreadsheet, but the forms show up in the Google Drive (a PDF) for both.

We are using the form for RSVP's to luncheons and this causes a problem when the people show up but we do not have them listed as RSVPing since we need a head count ahead of time for the caterer.

One of the names (I'll call her as KC) I found in the "View Submission" section as "Incomplete Payments" along with 4 others that had paid and their submissions were integrated to the spreadsheet.  Only the one name, KC's, was not integrated to Google Spreadsheet.

The second name (I'll call her NN) shows up in Google Drive (PDF), but was not integrated to the Google Spreadsheet.  NN's name was not in the "Incomplete Payments" section.

Both KC and NN's PDFs were integrated in the Google Drive.  Both of their information was not integrated to the Google Spreadsheet.

Do you know why these two submissions did not go through?

When a submission is listed as incomplete, that usually means the payment has failed for the user. But if the payment is received, but still listed as incomplete, that means the IPN has failed to work for that particular submission. We understand that this causes you a problem and our apologies for that.

If payment is successful, and the submission gets listed in the grid listing, but not to the Google Spreadsheet, then that's likely a service timeout in the background during the submission. We cannot say yet if it's to our end or to Google Spreadsheet. We can investigate further if needed.

In the meantime, I'd like to know if the spreadsheet still works or it completely stopped getting new submissions. We recommend the reintegration if it stopped working, but if it still works, I suggest keeping it. I've also pushed your submissions to Google Spreadsheet. It should fill in the missing submissions.

    Thank you for this info.

If I'm understanding this correctly, if someone takes too long to fill in their form and comes back later, the form will timeout?  If this is so, how do we stop this from happening or not let them be able to click on the "submit" button?

The spreadsheet still works. The two names that did not show up on the spreadsheet before are now showing up.  Thank you!

How do I push the submissions to the Google Spreadsheet?  Can I do this on my end?

Are you asking if there is a time limit when making a payment (when users are redirected on Paypal payment page)? If so, the answer is yes.

If payment is settled right after they are redirected to Paypal, it should be automatically listed as completed submission, and you should get the submission to Google Spreadsheet as well. If payment is not made within the given timeframe (30 minutes) or they junk off the page by closing the browser, the submission will be listed as incomplete.

It's a tool that is only available to our end. We can do this again if there are missing submissions in your form.

is there code or something that if someone does not complete their form in the 30-min timeframe, that the form either closes or tells the person they have to start over?

Yes, there is some code written at the JotForm end that If the payment is not made within the given timeframe (30 minutes) or the browser is closed, the submission will be listed as incomplete.

    Thanks.

Is this something from your end or is it something I can do?  If I can do it, can you give me the code and directions on how this is done.

    Thanks!

I'm sorry, but it is not possible. Note that the countdown only starts when the user has redirected to the Paypal payment page.

You may consider adding a note using our Text field before or after the submit button that tells the user to complete the payment within 30 minutes or as soon as they are redirected to the Paypal payment page.
