Is a way to provide a discount from the offer in a period?

Hi,

I have just integrated my GoCardless account which is great, but there seem to be a few limitation that don't seem be available.

Our subscriptions are not one set fee and change based on the number of people within that subscription and how many times they attend our services per week. I have managed to add a "Form Calculator" to calculate this based on their slection in other feilds, which is great.

However... our subscriptions are offered based, and we give our customers the option to subscribe with an offer. Depending on the year it could be one month free, 50% off first month or even 50% off undtil a certain date (we are currently offer 50% off until April 19).

The questions I have are:

Is there a way within the "Form Calculator" to calculate not only the amount of people and times they attend per week, within one direct debit mandate (which I have figured out), but then calculate in the discount from the offer they choose?

For example our stanard monthly ongoing fee is £26 on the 1st of each month. We currently have 50% off until 1st April and want to charge them the total amount between now and 1st April in a one off payment, and then have the ongoing subscription start from 1st April. The payment would be £39 one off now, and then £26 ongoing from 1st April.

Is this possible?

If not, the only other way I thought it could be done is if the GC integration was set up to delay the start of the subscription to the 1st April and then my team manually go into the GC dashboard and add a Ad-hoc payment.

Is there a way to delay the start of the subscription?

Unfortunately, what you are looking for is not possible to be accomplished through the form calculation widget, nor the payment gateways such as Gocardless, as they only offer to set a custom amount for the first month only:

There is no option to delay the payment either. Let us know if you have more questions.
