How can I put a text box next to another text box

You can place the fields one next to the other.

You will have to select both the fields one by one and select the Shrink option in the Properties (please note that the Shrink option is found under the Advanced tab). Please check the screencast below.

I did shrink the one but I cannot seem to get a text box I can add to the right of another. I can add lots of them vertically, but I want to add horizontally. I read the user guide and still can’t do it.

Are you referring to this form https://www.jotform.us/form/71495038150151? Fields are not shrunk when I checked the form.

Please watch my screencast below on how I use the "Advanced designer" tool to add columns to the form so it will adjust when you set the shrink option enabled.

I know the fields are not shrunk because I couldn’t move anything next to it. No point in shrinking unless I could put something next to it. I don’t see any link in this email about advanced designer. I’ll figure it out. No need to respond.
