I tryed to do this via form designer and pushes the spacing down to 1 but this only changes the online form not the pdf that is created.
Can you please help?

Changing that setting would not affect the PDF. For the PDF, you will have to change that in the PDF Editor. You can select between these options under Line Spacing to change the spacing between questions.

Unfortunately, there's currently no option lower than compact but I can escalate this as a feature request if you want so it would be considered in the future.

Hey @schmidtpainting - Sadly, you can only inject CSS to the form builder. I decided to elevate your thread as a feature request. The feature is about adding more line spacing options (hopefully smaller than compact) for PDF documents.
Please keep in mind that there's no assurance whether this will be implemented. It will highly depend on the viability of the feature, the amount of similar requests we get, along with the workload of our Developers.
We can't give you any timeframe but we'll keep you apprised on this same thread when there's an update.
