The placeholders in the text element in the PDF template editor does not pick up the values of the field. They remain as place holders after saving
If this will not be a possibility, can you suggest a way how to create a narrative on the PDF template that will pick up the values on submissions?

You may add different elements in your PDF form when you edit it. In your Add Elements, you can choose either Basic Elements or Form Fields..
May we know what fields are not added to your PDF form?
Please give it a try and let us know if the issue still remains.

Richie_P, I'm planning to create a narrative on the PDF template. Something like this:
{Full_name} is a {yr_old} year old swimmer in North Carolina.
Now, this is not possible in the PDF editor as of the moment. In trying, there will be some awkward spaces which will not appear to fit well in the document. I see this as a necessity in order to properly create my template. This is why I was hoping to use the text element in the PDF template editor but the placeholders are not working.
Any better ideas?

Thank you for the added information.
I have tested a cloned version of my form and it seems that we cannot get the value of the element using the above method.
I have tried using the text element in the PDF editor but still no data.
Sample screen cast:
We can however, forward a feature request to our developers to get the value of the form field in the PDF template.
Can you please explain further how you want this feature to work?
We will wait for your reply.
Thank you.
