Using Star Ratings with Conditions doesn't seem to work

I'm trying to get a submit button to show only if the correct orientation of 4 star rating widgets is lit up, but the submit button shows upon nothing being selected. Once one widget is selected, it works as it should... which leads me to assume there's no way for the conditions tool to recognize the rating field as being empty. I've successfully done this using a slider, but that proved too difficult for the people I've had test it. If anyone could lead me in the right direction, that would be great. Thank you.

Btw, I've tried adjusting the default values, I've tried negatively stating the condition to SHOW the submit button if the stars are NOT equal, and I've tried to adjust the ANY and ALL settings within the conditions wizard... all to no avail.

Currently the way you have it set up it is set to " All " which means each of those Star Rating Fields must match the number you set for them and because of that is it conflicting.

What you need to do is change it to " Any " and it will correct that -

See the modified working demo of your form with the correction here that shows the Submit button is hidden unless the Numbers you specified are selected -

But how would I do it so all stars had to be selected properly... Like a combination lock. Again, with the sliders, it works like a charm. Is it currently impossible with the stars. A bug, perhaps?

    Thanks for the response, btw.

Could you please tell me a little bit more about the current setup? I can see that you have it so that it goes 4,3,2,1...

Perhaps you are trying to get it to calculate if all 4 fields equal a total 4 stars then?

Or is it that as long as at least one of them matches 4 stars then the submit button shows?

If I am going in the wrong direction with this please correct me on that.

This might best explain it. My iphone has a 4 digit lock on it. If my code was 8642, for instance, I'd type that in to access my phone. 8 would not be enough. 8 with three other random numbers would not be enough. 8, 6, 4, then 1 wouldn't even work. Nor would 2, 4, 6, 8... because it would be out of order.

I've swapped out the stars and replaced them with the slider now at http://form.jotformpro.com/form/30217853035953

Try the code 8-6-4-2 to get the submit button to show. And now I'd love to be able to do the same thing with stars. To get the slider to work, my conditions were having each factor EQUAL a certain number, then ALL selected, with the action being to SHOW the submit button.

Thanks for your help. Sorry I didn't make myself clear before. You guys have amazing customer service, btw. Kudos.

Firstly thank you very much for your feedback and kind words, it's much appreciated! :)

Second, I do apologize for my misunderstanding as I see you previously stated " like a combination lock " though at that moment it didn't click until now but now it makes more sense, thanks.

I'm not quite sure that the Star Rating Field could meet this need directly because of the nature of the value design it selects all either way since the stars are filled up where as the Slider Range Field selects the number that its on.

It may be possible to do this but it would it would require more time to try to achieve it.

Thanks. I'll take it as impossible for the time-being. If this ever changes, please let me know. Have a great day.
