Square payment: Receiving Payment Error "PAYMENTS_WRITE"

    I am having this same issue.  Can you please share how it was resolved?

    The square account is accepting payments via swiping the card so there is a change required that is specific to online Jotform integration?

    Could you let us know to which form you are experiencing this issue? Also, please provide us with a screenshot of the error you are receiving.

    Are you receiving this error as well?
    "The merchant has not given your application sufficient permissions to do that. The merchant must authorize your application for the following scopes: PAYMENTS_WRITE

    I am also having this issue. Did anyone have success fixing it? I upgraded my account specifically for this functionality and it's causing more of a headache than helping.

    There are no other workarounds except using another payment processor as you mention. We are looking into the issue and will update you here once a response is available.

    Its been about 5 days since I hit this error, and I have seen several other reports all receiving the same generic response or information such as 'disconnect and reverify with square'

    At this point, I have funds that I need an online method to accept in order to apply those incoming funds to current expenses.

    I need to a timeframe in which this issue will be addressed. Are you estimating hours, days, weeks etc...

    After reading another post about this issue from a "Jotform Developer" I just tested my work flow end to end, and it is now working as expected.  I am able to submit Credit Card charges using Square Integration.

    No change was required in my form.  I only disconnect, and re-connect with Square and it all started working.

    There was no problem with our credentials so it was the hard for replicate. Sorry for inconvenience.
