Take Photo Widget: pictures not showing up on Edit Link

    I have a form that includes the Autoresponder Email and that includes the edit link. The person who filled-out and submitted the form wants to change one of the entries. He clicked on the link and it opened the form as expected. He made the change but when he hit submit, it would not go through. There are a bunch of required photos with the form that are lost when he attempts the update so the form is throwing errors that it is not complete. Is there any way not to lose the photos so the other fields can be updated?

    Could you please provide us with a form link or a form name so we will be able to take a look?

    There's a bunch of errors related to the images in the form. It is related to the URL and looks like a backend error. It is appending an extra line of our domain;

    I will report this to our backend team for resolution. Once we have an update, we'll let you know here. I'm not sure what would be the workaround here since the form is currently not working on edit.

    Note that I cannot replicate this, you can try here https://www.jotform.com/edit/4226509190018738464

    I'm not sure I understand what that link is for.  It brings up a short form but doesn't have an edit link and the photo-taking application doesn't work.

    My colleague shared his sample form of the issue and has forwarded this to our back-end team for further investigation.

    They will contact you once updates are available.

    Thank you.

    Hi!  It's been a couple of months since I've heard anything about this so I thought I'd check in.  Any update?

    Our sincere apologies, but we do not have an update yet, still. We understand your need to have this widget worked on edit, so while waiting, maybe clone the form and use the cloned form for new submissions.

    I have cloned your form and made a test, the widget work on edit, so I'm sure it will work for you too. You can check my test here https://www.jotform.com/edit/4277099383639352280

    Yes, it did work as expected.  I went in to do an update and all of the photos were still there.  However, in the AutoResponse email, some of the photos were partially covered with shading.  If you have access to the cloned form, you can probably take a look at it.  I've attached some screen shots too.1551914436Annotation 2019-03-06 171946.j1551914457Annotation 2019-03-06 171910.j

    Hey Justin - We can see the screenshots now. I'm sorry to trouble you but can you please give us the form URL of the clone form? I tried to find it in your account but I'm not sure which one is the clone form.

    Also, have you tried getting another picture? I think it's a camera fault but I'm not sure so we need to further test it.

    We will wait for your response.

    Hi, we apologize for the delayed response. In this time we made several important fixes in this widget. The thing is that the images were getting an extra domain in edit mode. Widget should work fine now, please try widget once again and let us know. I checked it on one of your forms and it works as expected: https://www.jotform.com/edit/4226415312215887535
