I don't use the program all the time and it doesn't make sense to pay for a whole year when I only use it maybe 4 months in all. Thanks

Yes, you can choose monthly option instead of yearly. Also, you can upgrade or downgrade your account anytime.
To choose the monthly plan, just go to your billing page https://www.jotform.com/myaccount/billing > Click on Upgrade button and Choose Monthly.
