Hello,
I created a fillable pdf form from the online form I created on here which was to be used as our company's Request for Leave form. The only issue I have with this is that after an employee has filled it in and saved it, the manager who then needs to open it and approve/disapprove it can no longer fill in the form. Once it has been saved once it does not become editable.
Is there a way around this to make the form fillable at all times?
Thank you,
Terry

I could not reproduce the problem with Adobe PDF Reader.
I could edit the fillable PDF Form again and even replace the existing file when saving it.
Here's my test:
There should be no problem with re-editing the fillable PDF Form.

Hi EltonCris,
What I noticed with this was if you put in a signature it will then make the pdf static. This is not good for the form I have created as the employee needs to sign it then the manager needs to approve/refuse it then sign it.
Once the first signature has been put on the form it makes it static and therefore the manager cannot enter anymore information on the pdf.
Is there a way around this at all?
Thank you
Terry

I have tested it on my end and I am still able to edit both original fillable PDF and the PDF saved by the user.
See my screencast below.
I suggest downloading you to download your fillable PDF again and test if the issue still persists.

I see now what you're referring to. After I added signature on the fillable PDF, I open it again then it's locked. According to Adobe, users are now unable to edit signed PDFs.
You can check for more details here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/edit-signed-PDF.html
https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2435509So the workaround for this is to save other copy of PDF without a signature so you will be able to edit it again.
