Attached is a screencast of what I am referring to. I am trying to have the unanswered dates just be blank in the preview PDF.

I have cloned your form and submitted a sample.

Once submitted, you can open your form submission and ensure that the "Auto Hide Empty Fields" is checked.

After doing this, when you select the PDF option to preview the PDF, it automatically hides the unanswered fields as shown below.

Please review and let us know if this is working for you.

I do have that option check, but for some reason it only takes away my empty tables. Not any other fields.

Is it because I inputed  the fields within a text element?

Meaning I dragged and dropped a text element into my PDF doc and edited to have {name} for example or any other unique ID. Is there a way to code that if empty, then insert a “ “ (non breaking space) into the text instead of the unique ID?

    Yes.

I checked the PDF document and I noted this as well. The field unique id/name will only appear as text if you embed it in the TEXT field in the PDF document.

You can also test if hidden empty field option properly work by creating a new PDF document. The empty fields should be hidden in the PDF by default.
