How to use Jotform as a trigger to send out an automatic email

    Hi Jotform,

    We have used the Zoho Integration previously to trigger automatic actions when someone one fills out our Jotforms. However, this time we would like to triggers to happen when -- 1) the name field on a Jotform becomes part of the salutation of an email and when 2) the email field on a Jotform becomes the address to send the automatically generated email to.

    Do you have suggestions as to apps that may integrate with Jotform to accomplish the triggering of an automatic email that we can customize the salutation based on a field in our Jotform.

    Yes, it is possible by configuring the Email notification option in JotForm.

    1) the name field on a Jotform becomes part of the salutation of an email 

    Go to Settings > Emails > Email Notification > Email. Add the salutation as shown below from the form fields. Finally, Save your settings.

    2) the email field on a Jotform becomes the address to send the automatically generated email to

    Go to Settings > Emails > Email Notification > Advanced tab. Select the Sender email as shown below. This will show JotForm as the sender email.
