Create Multi-line Question Field based on Input Value from field above

Hello JotForm Support,

We need your support to create n number of multi-line question field based on the input value from another field in the same form (of course).

For example:

Field1: [type=number] [value=3]

Generate 3 x multi-line question field

fName1

lName1

fName2

lName2

fName3

lName3

______________

Please advise if something like is possible using JotForm conditionals or widgets?

You can add these fields to the form in a repeated manner when using all questions on one-page layout and then use conditional logic to show/hide the fields based on the user's answer.

All questions are on one-page layout. I have implemented conditional logic to show fields based on user's selection - which works fine.

Here's my current structure:

How many YouTube links to submit?

YouTube link

If value = more than 1 show YouTube link field. Though I want it to repeat based on the value inserted. If value = 3, show 3 x YouTube link fields.

Is this something achievable?

Yes, it is achievable. You can add a Dropdown field or a Spinner field into your form. Then add few text fields into the form with the YouTube links. Hide these fields.

After this add few conditions into your form to show the links based on the number selected.

Sorry, but not the solution I was looking for. This is solution not completely dynamic. What if I have n numbers of links to submit? How do I multiply by n and present?
