Please guide us on an option to save and go back later on forms.

When a user is working on filling out a form to send in and they need to save and go back later is there a button to put on the form that would allow them to "save"

You can use autosave using the page break method. Every time to click next, it saves the previously filled data. This method is also known as a session parameter method. Please refer to the link below for the user guide:

Another way is that you can also enable autofill feature. Please follow below steps to enable autosave. Scroll down and enable the field Continue Forms Later.

I did this, however, it does not provide a button to show the user that
they have saved information.

Please note that there are two form layouts, and the ability to save forms and continue later is different:
