Our form is not always creating a submission to Trello board

    Hi,

    I am looking to upgrade to the bronze package but I am having trouble receiving new Trello cards for every test submission submitted.

    I am a Graphic Designer in a College and I want to use your forms as a Design Request which will add each request to my Trello board. Once I am confident the system will work I can get the ok to upgrade both JotForm and Trello.

    Do you know why I might be have problems with this? I get some submissions as Trello Cards but not all.

    Any advice would be helpful.

    Our Trello Power-Up integration is no longer available, and that is likely the reason why no submissions are ever created on your Trello board unless you are doing the integration using other means such as Zapier or Integromat or other connectors then the issue is different.

    Please confirm if you are referring to our Trello Power-Up or a different one. We can create the ticket, but I need your confirmation first so I can note that in the ticket.

    Hi Welvin,


    No It is not the Trello Power-up I have set it up from with in jotform (under integrations section of my form.) I do get some test submission which auto create a card on my trello board but I have some that don't. It does not seem consistent.

    I see. Thank you for clarifying. I should have checked your form then :) Anyways, our Trello integration is working, and I have just tested that a while ago. 

    Can you check to see if there's a pattern? Like if one field is not filled, it won't add the data to Trello board? I would also suggest making the Event Name field as required in the form, as I see you have that mapped in the Name section of Trello. That's the main part of the integration, and shouldn't be blank.

    Please check the file uploads as well. Please verify if it is not affecting your integration. 

    Please check your date formatting as well. The suggested formatting is mm-dd-yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy. Please change that.

    Hi,


    Thank you for your help. It was the event name not being filled in that was causing issues creating the trello card. I made it a required field and not had any further issues.


    I had another questions if you are able to help. Is there a way to get more if the fields to appear in the trello card?

    I'm afraid that what is offered in integration is what you can add, and that is most probably a Trello API constraint.
