How to hide the value in a drop-down list that has been submitted?

My client would like the submission results does not have any duplicate, in the form there will be the drop-down list. I would like to hide the value record in the drop-down list that has been selected and submitted, please advise how to do so.

It's not possible in our dropdown, but you can use any of the following widgets to limit the number of selection:

No, I don't think a widget can solve the problem when a dropdown list is a long list - it's time consuming to add widget for many group of list in a long list.

I wish you have a better solution.
