Can I use input masking within the Configurable List Widget?

I am trying to limit a Zip Code entry to 5 digits.  I have it as a text field.  It was suggested I use "#####' but the response was for a basic field as I forgot to say it was for Configurable List Widget.

    I have

*Employee's Home 5 digit Zip Code: text

I tried doing this: *Employee's Home 5 digit Zip Code: text,"XXXXX" but that was wrong.  How do I go about this when using the Configurable Widget?

    Thanks.

Hello @drdavidkerr - Input masking only works with the regular SHORT TEXT ENTRY (textbox) field. Sadly, the Configurable List Widget doesn't have this option.

Do you not know beforehand how many employees a respondent might add? I'm asking because if you're expecting just a few employees to be added by your respondents, perhaps using regular form fields instead of the widget will be an alternative. You can conditionally show more fields by asking the respondent how many he/she wanted to add beforehand.

With this approach, you can use the input masking feature of the regular textboxes.
