I love jotform... but seriously come on...

We're in 2019. It's a a form to accept data, which in most cases could be confidential..

How come SSL is still not supported on custom domains???

We are sorry for any inconvenience. From what I know we do not have plans on implementing SSL on the custom domain for some security reasons as there might be abusive users that will be using forms for phishing. If those users are able to use custom domains with SSL, the phishing forms would look legit and it is hard to control them.

If you want to have SSL on custom domains, I suggest that you have JotForm Enterprise.

    Hi there,
Hi Mike, thanks for your reply.
I am sorry but I completely disagree with you, there is a wide line between
an agency who is paying to use your services for legit reasons to users who
would abuse the form for phishing.

I understand that the ability to have SSL should be moderated and approved
per case basis, but to tell me that we need to subscribe to an Enterprise
package which is that most of small sizes agencies like ourselves would not
be able to afford, is just ridiculous.

Nowadays SSL is not a feature, it is a must, it is recognized and required
by most of the organisations we work with. And for the package we are
currently paying it should be allowed for us to have our custom domain name.
I would ask you to look into my request again and see if you could allow us
the SSL on our custom domain as using the jotform domain does not work well
for us. We may have to consider a different solution in this case.

    Regards
    Guy

I have forwarded a feature request to our developers regarding SSL on custom domains.

Do note that we cannot give an ETA when this feature would be implemented or an assurance that it will be passed.

We will keep you posted via this thread for updates/news.

    Thank you.

    Hi Richie,

Thanks for doing that, however, I can see that this has been requested since 2017.

If there is nothing you can do at this point, I will look into other solutions.

I have forwarded a feature request to our developers. Unfortunately, we have to wait for any news or updates regarding this feature.

You may use our Forms directly which has SSL certificate or you can embed your form into your web page.

    Thank you.
