Conditional IF statement not working

    Hi,

    I desperately need help!

I need you to look at my "IF", "THEN" logic and tell me why it is not working.

I am sending (via the URL) a # into the very first field.  But, here's the catch, IT IS WRONG on some of the URLs that I built and sent to my customers.

I can't send them ANOTHER long string - i've screwed this up too many times already.

For Example, Customer = "Murphy's Law" was sent ID#63379.  It's part of the URL I gave the customer to get to the form.  So, 63379 is input into that HIDDEN FIELD, automatically.

    But that is wrong!

So I built a conditional statement to set it to the correct #:971111404

But it is not changing it when I hit SUBMIT.

    Can you help fix this?

All I want to do - is change the # in ONE FIELD.

If it's One #, I need to change it to another #.

    I'm guessing it's a problem with either:

SYNTAX - or - I can't change something that I've sent into the form via the URL.

    Mike

I'm sorry, but targetting the same field for the conditional logic won't work. A workaround here would be to add a similar field to capture the new/correct ID. If there's a need to let customers know their correct ID, you can do it by sending an autoresponder email once they submit the form.
