    What exactly does this mean - NOTE : As a matter of fact ,  our session system will not be able to handle a large amount of records in dropdown menus. So please be aware of it, before to implement this method

    It's a little vague;

    what are session system??

    what is large amounts of records in dropdown menus??

    It's on http://www.jotform.com/help/97-How-to-Save-Forms-to-Continue-Later

    Has there been any improvement on that - Generally if we are going to have a long form it's highly possible that we'll want to use lots of drop down boxes - also, I don't really want to go & create a big form only to find out that it won't work so would be good to get a bit more definite answer around the above.

    Cheers & Thanks

    Hi Annie,

    What are session system

    In a short explanation, session is used for saving unsubmitted form data to JotForm's Server. So if you'd like to continue filling the form with your previous saved data, you can simply add ?session=youremail@email URL parameter to your form URL.

    What is large amounts of records in dropdown menus??

    This means when you have about 2,000 options on on your single drop down field. This makes the session to not saved the selected option on the dropdown list. However, creating many drop downs with about hundreds options each is possible.

    Actually, this feature can only be used when you have Page break with your form. So, if you have a very long form, you can devide them into pages using Page break tool, under Survey Tools.

    Feel free to message us again if you have further questions or concerns. Thanks!
