I'd like to use jotform to add new data to some pre-existing data in CSV format. Is it possible to import this existing data into the "form submissions" so that the new submissions are seamlessly added to the old data.
I'm trying to avoid having the pre-jotform data exist in a separate file to the jotform data.

Although we do have an option to Export CSV files, there is no option to import CSV to our submissions database as of yet.

Being able to import existing data so that you can use JotForm with legacy forms / data would GREATLY enhance the value of the JotForm experience. Please let me know when that feature is available. It is just about the only thing from holding us up for moving on to JotForm completely.

Ok I submitted a ticket for this request. We will have our developers take a look into it and decide whether it is fit for implementation. We cannot give a lead time for completion though, as it is still subject for approval. Our development team do not have the luxury of time to grant all requests, but since I already submitted a ticket, this will be added to our feature requests list.
We will notify you of updates via this thread. Thank you for supporting Jotform.

Thanks for submitting this for approval. I'm curious if there has been any activity on this? I really want to becoming a paying customer, but I have too many submissions in Zoho and without being able to import those submissions, it would make it difficult to switch. DabbleDB recently shut down (after being bought by Twitter), so I imagine you guys could get some traction there too. Just a thought.

As of now, this request still remains in the feature request list and is yet to be approved. I can't say for sure if this will be implemented or not so I cannot give any updates right now.
Rest assured though, our developers have been notified of the demand that this feature has been getting. It is up to them to take the necessary action. Again, thank you for your suggestions.

I too would like this feature. There are times when I change a forms design by creating a new form based on the old style (so I do not loose the old style in case I want to reuse). When this occurs I would like to populate the new forms submission records with data from the old form. I know the fields would not match completely, but I could first manipulate this data in Excel before importing so that the fields do match.

Hi there, I tried this, and didn't work. Was able to select the form, and select the import file, but when I clicked import, it just redirected me to http://www.jotform.com/import-submissions/index.php with blank page.
Also in IE, I couldn't select the form to choose from either. The modal popup appeared, but nothing inside the box to choose the form.
Just thought I'd let you know.
