My form will not display on web site

Asked by kranch on January 30, 2013 at 12:22 PM

I have created a simple survey form that was previewing and functioning proplerly when I first embedded it on my web site.

I have since made edits to the form and now it does not preview on my web site. It only shows a blank white box.

I've tried pasting different code, clearing my browser cache, etc. with no luck.

I contacted site support forum and they directed me to a site to test the code and it also failed to preview.

    Hi there,

May I ask which embed method you used?

On my end, I am able to see the form (eventhough the page is very slow in loading)

On our end, I have cleared the form cache.

As per your form, here is the stand alone version of your form:

    Hi kranch,

    Chrome browser view:

    Firefox view:

I'm able to load your form in your site and the above images should show it. Is it still not showing on your end? Which browser do you have? Can you try on a different browser? We need this so we can further isolate what the problem really is.

I've tried using the embed, source and iFrame code when placing the form on my site.

As stated, the form was fine when I initially pasted the code. Issues only occured after I made edits.

My current browser versions as follows:

    Safari - 5.1.7

    Chrome - 24.0.1312.56

Firefox - 18.0.1 (displays nothing, others display blank white box)

    Hi,

Your form is working fine on our end upon checking. Can you please try re-save your form then clear browser cache and cookies if that fixed the problem or not?

    Thank you!

I tried clearing my browser cache prior to posting issue. I went ahead and created a clone of form and renamed it. It still is not displaying on my site.

I tried "embed", it yielded no preview.

"source" yielded a preview different than form created (is there a way to attach a screen grab?)

    "iFrame" yielded no preview either.

Could the issue be related to my "Free" account status. Will upgrading to the basic plan remedy the situation?

    Hi Kranch,

No it is not related with your account status. This might be related to the recent issues we had with our security layer, CloudFlare. I've cleared your form cache, can you check your form now? If the problem still persist, please try to change your form domain from jotform.us to jotform.com e.g. http://www.jotform.com/form/123456789 (be sure to change only the domain). You should be able to find it on your form embed code.

Kindly update us if this doesn't help fixed the problem. Thanks and apologies for the inconveniences caused.

Thank you so much - whew!

The form is functioning properly w/o having to alter domain name in code.

Please note, we will be upgrading our account regardless.

    Thanks again!
