Instead of reading bits and pieces about injecting CSS I'd like to see the default style sheet for my forms.
I downloaded and installed Firebug, but that hasn't been a bit of help so far. The most help I've found is where a support person wrote out most of the css for the error messages. There has to be a better way to do this than hunt and peck.
The reds clash with my purples.

I think I found my answer after much searching I was able to view the form source code - this is great.
