Hey folks.... could y'all test the substring widget on your end to see if it's working. I've got a test form in which the substring widget isn't copying.
Thanks.

The substring widget doesn't count the . as a charter. If you add another number to the value, the substring widget will work as expected:

Hey David... unfortunately it did not work until I MANUALLY added the additional character/number. It appears as though the substring widget doesn't want to copy from a field that has a calculated or default value. Can this be fixed?

Default value I don't believe so as the widget needs to trigger from an input. The same goes for a calculated value. The calculated value can be used in the substring widget but the widget is only populated when triggered by form input. You are correct about the default values.
