How to save data entered to form without clicking save or anything?

I had previously asked for assistance in using the hidden box features on a request form to make part of a form visible only to certain people. I think I figured that out.

Once you are in submission edit mode and the officers execute the approvals and take action, can you exit the form with the actions being saved for future reference? If we don't want to print them or email them at that moment but just want to approve/deny and then exit, how do you do that? I see the 'cancel edit' button but if you just want to exit after editing, are the actions saved and can they be seen later?

    Thanks,

    Judy

So you want your form to save automatically even if they close the link without clicking save or anything else.

You can then set up save forms and continue later on your form. This will save the data entered in your form on our server, so whenever they click on the next button in your form. It will automatically save data. Then they can resume the form using the session link.

Please follow the guide here: How to Save Forms and Continue Later

You will also find a demo form in the guide, try it so you will have an idea of how it works.
