Can I link jotform to edebit payment gateway? Can jotform perform excel type calculations?

Asked by Sher-lene on February 01, 2013 at 01:16 AM

    Hi,

My husband and I have been running a karate school for coming up to 10 years, and to celebrate we are organising a Karate Benefit Tournament and donating profits to charity. This is the first tournament we've ever organised and we're trying to do a lot ourselves to keep costs low. We are looking into creating on-line forms, and are considering using jotform but have a few qs.

We have investigated and would like to use the company www.edebit.com.au to collect payments since they are a lot cheaper than Paypal. However, would it be easy to integrate a jotform with an edebit payment gateway? eDebit say that it can be done (see below for request link for info from eDebit regarding this), but does this mean we need to pay a web developer to do this? Or is this something we could try ourselves? Or does jotform already link with eDebit?

Also, just wondering whether jotform can perform excel type calculations - ie: we want to offer about 10 different events that people can choose from, but instead of having a price per each event, my husband would like to offer the following type of price format:

    One event = $20.00

    Two events = $30.00

    Three + events = $40.00

and he would like people to choose which event category they would enter and then the price would be automatically calculated for them. I guess if this type of excel-type calculation is too difficult, then we could just rethink that bit and do it a different way.

    Thank-you in advance.

    Kind regards,

    Sher-lene

We currently have no integration with eDebit.

I have forwarded a request to our developers to add eDebit to the payment tools.

I cannot give a time frame to when this gets implemented unfortunately. However, we will let you know when an update is made.

    Thanks!

    Hi Sher,

Currently, it is not possible to link edebit with jotform. For the excel type calculation, the closest thing Jotform can offer is the Purchase Order form, which enables you to list products you want to sell.

Let me know if you have more questions regarding this. Thank you for using Jotform.
