Is it possible to have this type of condition?

Asked by davesixel on March 15, 2011 at 02:40 AM

I am doing a pick em type fantasy sport league. I have numerous drop down boxes with the same 14 athletes in all 8 drop down boxes. The rules of the game are you can only pick one fighter through out the entire form. Is there any conditions out there that would allow an athletes name to come off the rest of the drop down boxes once he is picked on one?

    Thank you for your time

That type of functionality isn't possible using JotForm conditions.  You would need to embed the full source code into your own page and then have some javascript in your page to keep track of the list of players.  Then check the list and remove individual players each time there is a change to one of the drop downs.  It's not a trivial problem to solve I'm afraid, so I would recommend getting a developer to handle it for you.  If you do want to tackle it, here is a good overview of what's required:

Take a look also at the further reading section, it has some alternative strategies on how to achieve what you want.
