    Hi there,

I am the webmaster for Runyon Field Sports Complex.

My client is concerned about one of his forms I built for his website.

    It's the TEAM ROSTER.

I have it set up in a way that makes it easy for the teams to fill out.

I at first had it ALL on one page and it was NOT printing right either.

So I broke it down into two pages -- players and block out dates with a page break between the two.

Yet when my client is printing the form for his records, some are NOT printing the way it looks on the site. Especially the pdf files after downloading...

I have attached two three files for you.

The first one says the file is NOT on the server. That is strange. It should be there after it is filled out.

I have checked the screenshot you have provided with the web form on your URL, as I can see the fields order is the same.

Now, note that some of your fields are not required, this means that the users may simply leave the fields empty and empty fields will not be present on the PDF report.

Also, besides updating the form in the builder, I would recommend you to also update your PDF document, this guide will help you doing so: https://www.jotform.com/help/384-How-to-Customize-PDF-Submissions-Report

    I hope this helps.

Your response regarding the PDF Editor did NOT show the order I have the form set up in ...

    take a look:  https://www.jotform.com/pdf-editor/90064621243145

I am extremely disappointed as to why the form is all over the place and NOT coming through in the correct order I have the fields set in.

I can't make the player fields required as we don't have a set number of players for each team.

That is up to the coach(s).

Same thing for the Blackout date! We can't determine the number BUT like the player number it is NOT a required field.

It is set up as Player's Name 1: Could one of these two revisions below keep the form in the correct sequence?

    1 Player's Name:___________________

    2 Player's Name:___________________

    Player 1 Name:____________________

    Player 2 Name:____________________

Please let me know your thoughts ASAP.

I have just checked your current PDF report and compared the document with the web form in the form builder, I can see what you're referring to, some fields seem to be displayed on the wrong order, here is a screen-cast about what I've noticed:

Please note that as explained above, you may change the field's order through the PDF editor, you can actually drag and drop the elements to correct their order, example:

You may refer to the guide shared above in order to know how to get the PDF editor.

Now, another thing you may try is to add a new PDF document which should have the fields in the same order they are in your form, to do it, you may click on the "new PDF document" button while on the PDF editor, once you do that you will only need to select the document's layout, example:

If the problem persists, please let us know if we can add a new document to your form in order to test this further.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Hi Kevin,

It seems that the problem is persisting and my client is NOT a happy camper. I don't want to have to mess with changing the PDF so it looks in the right order... It SHOULD stay in that order when I first made the form.

The problem seems to be when the person who fills out the form i created. I am attaching two snapshots. The first one is the Thank You Message (where it says "pdf-link" - when they click that then the second snapshots shows a REAL MESS!! Nothing is in order!!!

My Client would like this straightened out ASAP...

    Thank You!

Did your fix only update his form or all existing forms? I'm still having this issue on one of my forms.
