Good, but "integrate" is a bit overstated as it's not possible (as far as I can see) to prevent double booking or to view existing events.

May we know what widget or tool/element are your referring to?
You may use the appointment slot widget to create a booking
Sample Form:https://form.jotform.com/90504158978972
Can you please explain further how you want your form to work?
Looking forward for your response.

Hi Richie - This comment was made to the announcement in your blog:
https://www.jotform.com/blog/new-integration-google-calendar/appointment slots.
The widget doesn't check what availability there is on the Google Calendar.
I use a product called appointlet and I would want it to work in a similar way to that.
See: http://diary.appointlet.com (This is a diary I have made available for others to be able to book various appointment types with me)
Regards
Paolo

Thank you for the added information. I have checked our blog and found your comment.https://www.jotform.com/blog/google-calendar-integration/
Can you please explain further how you want the Google Calendar widget to work?
Do you want to show the events in your Google Calendar in the Form? Or do you want to give out an error message when user selects a date that has a reservation in Google Calendar?
Looking forward for your response.

Ideally...
The widget would show availability (by looking at free/busy info from Google Calendar) in slots of time determined by a setting (Eg. 1 hour, 2 hours, 1 day etc).
So for example if my google calendar had a busy slot for tomorrow from 11:10 - 13:20.
And the widget was configured for 1 hour slots starting a 9:00am finishing at 5:00pm, the widget would show the following slots for tomorrow:
9:00am Available
10:00am Available
11:00am Not Available
12:00pm Not Available
1:00pm Not Available
2:00pm Available
3:00pm Available
4:00pm Available
(If the widget was configured for 30 minute slots, then the following would show)
9:00am Available
9:30am Available
10:00am Available
10:30am Available
11:00am Not Available
11:30am Not Available
12:00pm Not Available
12:30pm Not Available
1:00pm Not Available
1:30pm Available
2:00pm Available
2:30pm Available
3:00pm Available
3:30pm Available
4:00pm Available
4:30pm Available
The widget would then allow an available slot to be booked.
There could be a button to show the availabilities day at a time, week at time and month at a time.
Now that would be awesome.
It could then be used to create booking forms for Accommodation, Dentist Appointments, Salon Appointments etc.

Thank you for your feedback.
I will forward this feature request to our developers to show available time slots in the Google Calendar.
Do note that we cannot give an ETA when this feature would be added or will it be passed. However, we will keep you posted via this thread for possible updates.
