    Bonjour,

Can this be used to make actual appointments with the person submitting the form, or others 'named' in the form (through appropriate email fields) ?

I don't see a "from" (which should be the account used anyways) nor a "to" which could be the person submitting the form (asking their email address obviously in the form).

Of course, there are dangers of facilitating spams / junk email where the person enters some random email address instead of theirs. However, we would see that in the Google Calendar since the "from" is know / set (and accessible).

Jotform keeps on growing and growing. Fantastic !

If you want to ensure that emails are valid and verified, you can use the Email Validator Widget.

If you're using Card Form layout, you can simply enable email verification in the email field. Guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/521-How-to-Require-Users-to-Verify-Their-Email-Address-Prior-to-Submission

So with these features, you get an assurance that the email is 100% correct and belongs to the person submitting the form.

Unfortunately, checking whether the email is valid does not prevent one from entering the neighbours email instead of their own.

More important, this does not answer the question : can an appointment have participants so they also receive an invitation to the created appointment ?  It does make one for them unless there is another way (hidden) in Jotform (almost too many features to know all ?)

As is, the appointment is only made in the set (sub-) agenda ...  If the latter is shared, it doesn't really create an appointment in the other person's agenda (person submitting) nor does it allow for multiple participants. Furthermore, it can't be shared with people who are not yet known nor can be shared with everyone who would then see all the appointments.

For example, if the form submission is to register a child to an event, the new feature only makes the appointment in one of my (sub)agenda with no participants.  However, it would be best to allow for, say, both parents to also get an invitation to the "appointment".  Both would be known through email fields in the form.

The new feature is definitely a step forward and much appreciated.  But it opened the door to many short comings.  It will evolve with time.

Thanks for the great service and product.

Unfortunately, there is no direct way to do this.
You can set more notification emails based on condition. For example if parent email field is filled on child form, you will email to parents about that. You can insert prepopulated parent form link in this email to let parents fill that(You must create second form for parents).
