    I've gone into edit a form and hide a field and the field is grayed out and it says it is now hidden however when I pull open a new copy of the form or review in Preview Form the field is still there.  What do I need to do to make the edit stick?

    Your last form ID is this https://www.jotform.com/81483967931167. I checked the form, and I don't see a hidden field there. Please confirm if this is the correct form, and let us know what field to hide or should be hidden.

    Yes, this is the correct form. When you click on the Property box (see attached) a box called State Avg Rate appears and that is what we want hidden (both the words State Avg Rate and the box).

    Thank you!

    I've tested your form. I'm able to replicate the issue, State Avg Rate field is showing up in the form even after hiding. I see that you just hide the field and no condition set on the field to display as per the user answer. It seems you don't want to display the field anywhere on the form? If yes, you can hide the button using custom CSS. Please add the custom CSS code below to hide that field:

    #input_129, #label_129{

      display: none !important;

    }

    If you want to display the field according to user input, please let us know when you want to display so that we can assist you accordingly.

    Yes, you are correct that I don't want the field State Avg Rate to show anywhere on the document.  Unfortunately, I'm not an IT person and so the information you previously provided about CSS code is not understood.  Is there some additional help you can provide in layman's terms that will help be solve this?  I appreciate any help you can provide to get me to the desired outcome.

    Just copy the CSS code below and open Form Designer just below the Preview Form.

    #input_129, #label_129{

      display: none !important;

    }

    Then click on CSS and paste the code there then Save it.
