Is it ok for us to collect credit card information on our form?

Hello, my business is upgrading our POS system and we will need to request updated credit card information from the businesses that have chargeable accounts with us. I'd like to use jotform to collect the information but was unsure if it technically violated jot form's policy since our customers want to give us that information to continue having accounts.

Please let me know if this is something that we can do. Thank you!

I am sorry to inform you, but we do not allow the credit card data collection.

Payments and credit card details can be securely accepted with available payment integrations. The credit card data is not stored on our servers, it is being forwarded directly to the payment processing services that way.

Some of the payment integrations support an authorization mode. For example, with Stripe integration in authorization mode you can collect valid credit card details (e.g. authorize $0.01 USD) and charge custom amount payments through your Stripe dashboard later.

If you need any further assistance, please let us know.
