Hi! I was wondering if I will get an email when a form is submitted or do I have to log in?

Welcome to JotForm! When you create your first form, the notification is set up by default, so you get notified via email each time the form is submitted.
You can change the recipient as shown on this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/41-How-to-Change-the-Email-Address-Used-for-Notification-Email
Also, these guides will help you to manually create a notification(a matter of a few clicks), and also delete notifications and autoresponders(for the person who submits the form):
