    Hello,

Is there a form element that will allow me to paste excel values into? For example, I really like your spreadsheet feature, however I can't seem to paste values from excel in it.

Linked below is the form with some context so you understand.

    Thanks,

    Anhthu

Do you want to add static values to your spreadsheet widget? If yes, you can paste it on your spreadsheet's default values.

Let us know if you are referring to something else.

No I’m actually looking for the ability for the form filler to copy and paste a set of cells from an excel spreadsheet and paste them into Jotform’s spreadsheet form element on my form.
Is there a way to do that?
    Thanks,

Additionally, is there a way to add easy referral/share page features something like attached on the “Thanks for Submitting” page or in the email after submission?

You may simply use a long text entry element and turn on the rich text mode:

    Hi Kevin,
Thanks for your patience with me. It’s greatly appreciated. Is there something with cells that form fillers can paste multiple values in? Cells would be ideal because we want to have column headers such as attached. We’re in need of the ability to have column headers and allow form fillers to fill in their information under each column by pasting excel values directly in (instead of having to type them).
Background on this is we need a way for someone to fill out the form for multiple people and provide lots of data without having to type in fields individually. So we want them to be able to take any excel spreadsheets they have, copy their data and paste it directly into any table/grid/spreadsheet you offer that we’ve already labeled with column headers so the data can be organized.
    Thanks!

Did you share any file with us? Unfortunately we cannot receive file attachment in forum post. I would suggest you to please share a screenshot of the file and we will take a look. The following guide should help you how to upload image in forum post:  https://www.jotform.com/help/438-How-to-Post-Screenshots-to-Our-Support-Forum

I would also suggest you to please take a look at our "CKEditor" widget and see if that fits into your requirement. This widget will allow you to past the cells in the widget.

    Hope this helps.

Do try it out and get back to us if you have any questions.

I just submitted the screenshot in the forum.
I checked out the CKEditor…with that, how would I be able to have headers for different columns?
I basically am looking for a spreadsheet widget that I can make column headers in and then form fillers can paste information under the headers when they complete the form.

I basically am looking for a spreadsheet widget that I can make column headers in and then form fillers can paste information under the headers when they complete the form.

Unfortunately, there is no such field/widget currently available to copy and paste multiple row/columns. Let me forward the thread as a feature request to our backend team for evaluation. Please note that we cannot provide any ETA at this moment. However, if there is any news you'll be updated here on this thread.

Could you also check if uploading the Excel file to a file upload field on your form directly instead of pasting cells to a field?

    Thanks!
