    We are trying to create an Inventory form.

    We have attempted using a Matrix, but we can't adjust the text fields as we need to.

    We have also tried adding an HTML block that contains our own styling for the Inventory Form, but when we "Submit" it does not keep the content in the email we receive.

    Please can you help us with this? We love Jot Form otherwise, and need to get this Form up ASAP.

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi,

    Changing the matrix width text boxes can be achieved by Injecting Custom CSS Codes to your form. Use the following codes:

    .form-matrix-values {

    padding-left: 8px;

    padding-right: 8px;

    }

    /*-1st column width-*/

    .form-matrix-values .form-textbox {

    width: 100px;

    }

    /*-2nd column width-*/

    .form-matrix-values +

    .form-matrix-values .form-textbox {

    width: 200px;

    }

    /*-3rd column width-*/

    .form-matrix-values +

    .form-matrix-values +

    .form-matrix-values .form-textbox {

    width: 100px;

    }

    /*-4th column width-*/

    .form-matrix-values +

    .form-matrix-values +

    .form-matrix-values +

    .form-matrix-values .form-textbox {

    width: 100px;

    }

    /*-5th column width-*/

    .form-matrix-values +

    .form-matrix-values +

    .form-matrix-values +

    .form-matrix-values +

    .form-matrix-values .form-textbox {

    width: 100px;

    }

    I have labeled them (bolded part) so it is easier for you to understand which column width is the code for.

    Unfortunately, embedding input box or creating input box using Free Text HTML tool can't record any inputted data. I would suggest not to use them for creating any input types.

    Thanks!
