Will registration information come to my e-mail address once PayPal is activated?

Asked by jennyhunter123 on March 16, 2011 at 10:00 AM

I am setting up a conference registration form.  I need to collect information from the people registering for a conference as well has have then pay on PayPal.  Once PayPay is set up, it looks like when the Submit button is hit, the person is taken directly to the PayPal website to pay for the conference.  What happens to the registration information they have already filled out.  Is it lost, or does it come the the e-mail addresses I have named?

    Hi Jenny,

You will recieve that information as soon as the payment is complete.  If your users go to paypal and then decide not to pay, those submission will be held as "Pending".  Pending submissions are still visable in your submissions list, but you wont recieve an email from them if the user decides not to continue.  But any payments which go through completely will just send all of the data together, so rest assured, nothing ever gets lost.

    thanks,

    Daniel
