When I click on the Pending submissions it ask if I want to complete payment. I'm a bit unclear as to what that means. Please advise. I do not want to double charge anyones credit card but I would like to clear out pending submissions when I have already recieved payment by phone or check.

Penny, this is not an official answer, but I believe it sends an email to the person who abandoned the form reminding them that they did not complete the payment.

Pending submissions are payment submissions that are pending for payment. This happens when someone submits payment using your form and is already about to login to paypal. When the user abandons the payment process, your pending submission will stay pending until payment is made within 30 days. After 30 days, it will automatically be deleted. Not sure about twmiller24's response but I will ask.
If you choose to complete the said submission, it will record to your data as completed (1 record of payment submission) but no payment was actually made. So it will be best to keep it there as is until payment is actually made by the person who submitted the form or you may wish to delete them if you're certain that the payment will not push thru.
Hope this helps.

Pending Submissions are only available for information purposes. If you would like you can complete a pending submission and it will be available in your reports, but we have no way to re-charge users.
Completing a pending submissions might mean "I received the payment by check so I am including this submission" or "this user has sent the payment using another channel".
Submitting pending submissions will not send a reminder email to the person who abondened the payment.
