How to create a workflow in my Form?

    Hi! We would like to use Jotforms for our employees to sign their job contracts. For us, this process has two steps: the HHRR manager fills in the job detail fields, and then it is sent to the employee for filling in additional fields and adding their signature.

    How can we accomplish this with Jotform? Right now, it looks like all the form fields must be filled in just one go... Thanks for the quick answer!

    You may create your own workflow with JotForm.

    Here is a guide:

    You would be using conditions and notifications to create the workflow.

    Hi Richie,
    That would work for signatures approval only… What we need is half of the form fields to be filled by the project manager and the second half of the fields to be filled by the recipient, while the first half is read only so they cannot modify what the project manager wrote...
    Any ideas?

    Yes, we can create such form. We can use the edit submission , redirect condition and use the get page URL widget to trigger conditions.

    Here are the steps,

    1.) 1st Create your form with the email address field for your recipient and add page break for the recipient form part.

    2.) Add the get page URL widget and use conditions to HIDE/SHOW fields.

    To HIDE the Fields for the recipient: With this example, I have used Does not Contain condition to hide the field without the word "/edit" in the Form URL.

    3.) We add an edit link to the autoresponder email, this will let the Form user edit the submission.
