    How to hidde form tools/fields

Asked by zest on February 08, 2013 at 06:56 AM

Is there currently a way to enable the form tools as hidden? Ths includes Option buttons, Dropdowns, etc to be hidden until submitted, similar to Hidden Box, but with the form tools capabilities.

    Thannks

You can set a conditional logic entry to hide fields/ form tools. Please check the tutorial link below on how to do this

Thanks for that. But the above cannot work in conjunction with Page Breaks. I am using lots of Page Breaks and this collapse feature cannot co-exist with my Page Breaks.

I am looking for a simpler drag and drop feature such as your current Power Tools > Hidden Box.

Maybe it can be called Hidden Radio Button, or Hidden Drop Down or Hidden Check Box?

You can use conditional logic to do what you need. It is not a drag and drop but it would be the best method to do what you need.

You can check this tutorial on how to set conditional logic on forms. E.g. when you click a radio button, a new field will display

Please let me know if you are still having trouble and we can look at the next possible solutions.

I have used the conditional logic extensively on my forms. I don't think it can achieve what I am looking for.

Like I said, after a form submission, it will then show the Hidden Box field, not before the form submission.

So after a form submission is made, the Hidden Radio Button, or Hidden Drop Down or Hidden Check Box will appear. Do you get me?

So after a form submission is made, the Hidden Radio Button, or Hidden Drop Down or Hidden Check Box will appear.

Unfortunately, this is not possible, but you may consider the following workaround.

Get your form source code, remove the fields you would like to hide from the code, and embed adjusted source code to your web page.

In this way, you will be able to edit 'removed' fields from your Submissions page by editing submissions.

Thank you for using our service.
